BALE TO STAY AT REAL MADRID

Wales international to become key figure after Ronaldo exit Gareth Bale is set to stay at Real Madrid and become a focal point for the club following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus, claims AS. Bale’s future in Madrid had been uncertain due to concerns over his amount of playing time, but Ronaldo’s exit is expected to lead to greater opportunities and see the reported Manchester United target become a key commercial figure for the club. Though Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Eden Hazard, president Florentino Perez does not view the Chelsea star as someone who possesses the same economic and commercial appeal as Bale.

If you leave it until Saturday this time it will be too late. Because the 2018/19 season starts on Friday 10 August, all Gameweek 1 teams must be finalised an hour before the opening match of the season kicks off. That means managers must submit their final selections by 19:00 BST on Friday 10 August... a week from today! While big-name signings could yet be added to the game before 17:00 BST 9 August, managers putting off registration could pay a big price. Remember, the speed with which managers register their FPL teams can affect their chances of winning mini-leag...
